When it comes to natural hair, I think it’s safe to say that we are all learning the best way to properly maintain our natural hair. Like many of you, I started my natural hair journey without a clue about what products to use. The entire journey feels more like a trial and error process, until you FINALLY find the product that works for you.
As a college student, I was faithful to my pixie cut, relaxer and bi weekly hair appointment. But let’s be honest, life on a college budget did not allow for me to sustain my appointments. As my hair started to grow out, I started to notice my natural curls and they were beautiful! I instantly fell in love with my natural hair, and I started researching ways that I could care for and maintain my natural hair (on a college budget). Eventually, I found a routine that worked with my schedule and kept my curls hydrated and moisturized.
Fast forward to today (I’m a little bit older) and I’m proud to say I’ve been a natural hair care expert for over 20 years. Within that time frame, I’ve learned so much and worked with hundreds of clients that bring a diverse range of curl patterns, textures and hair challenges. Through my experience, I’ve learned that natural hair doesn't have to be complicated.
Personally, I’ve experienced thinning and alopecia in my own hair. The effect of it has on my self-esteem started to control my day. I was constantly trying to fix my hair to cover certain spots. I knew that I wanted to find an authentic, natural solution for my hair. One that felt effortless, and helped me regain my confidence…so I started another journey to find the perfect solution.
Filling the Gap
When it comes to finding the perfect extensions for your naturally curly hair, It’s definitely not an easy task. From high prices to unnatural ingredients it’s safe to say we don’t have a large selection of extensions or hair care products that work for our hair…and let’s be honest, there are not a lot of options available for tighter curl patterns.
After years of back and forth, trial and error and constant disappointment, I got tired of saying NO to every product and extension that I purchased… and said YES to my vision! YES to starting my own business, YES to helping women feel seen and heard and YES to providing women like me with effortless, natural curly hair extensions.

We researched the best vendor, matched the coiliest of the curls and found sleek, smooth clips-in that look just as natural as your real hair. For almost a year, our owner, Lisa, tested each curl type on a variety of clients to ensure that the hair had a seamless, natural blend.
